These Terms of Service govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between tab-hunmin (hereinafter the "Company") and users in connection with the use of the language-learning service provided by the Company (hereinafter the "Service").
The Company posts these Terms within the Service. The Company may amend these Terms to the extent permitted by law, and will announce any amendment in advance, specifying the effective date and reason. Amendments unfavorable to users will be announced at least 7 days (30 days for material changes) before the effective date.

The service agreement is formed when the user agrees to these Terms and applies for membership via a social login offered by the Company (Google sign-in, or Sign in with Apple in the iOS app), and the Company accepts the application. Users under 14 must obtain consent from a legal guardian.
In the app, users may start using the Service with an Anonymous Account without signing in. Because an Anonymous Account is tied to the app on that device, deleting the app or changing devices may result in the loss of the Anonymous Account's data (learning records, AI Sentence Maker usage history, remaining add-on uses, etc.).
Linking a Google or Apple account preserves the Anonymous Account's data as is. However, if the user signs in with a Google or Apple account that is already registered with tab-hunmin, the Anonymous Account's data will not be merged into that account.
The Company provides the following services.
One AI Sentence Maker use is deducted each time a learning course is created, whether by AI generation or by direct input (including regeneration). Free uses reset every Monday at 00:00 (UTC), and Premium uses reset on the 1st of each month at 00:00 (UTC); unused uses do not carry over to the next period. Extra 30 Pack uses are deducted only after the included uses are exhausted, and any use deducted for a failed AI request is restored.
Some previously announced features, such as the pronunciation tutor, AI conversation (roleplay), the Conversation Pass, and the English learning program, are not currently offered.
The specific content and composition of the Service may change according to Company policy.
Premium is a Paid Service billed on a monthly recurring (subscription) basis, and the Extra 30 Pack is a Paid Service purchased on a one-time basis.
Fees are set in U.S. dollars (USD); amounts shown in local currencies, and whether taxes are included, follow what is displayed on the payment screen. The fee and benefits are stated on the in-service payment screen.
On the web, payments are processed by Paddle; the Merchant of Record for web purchases is Paddle.com, and charges appear as 'PADDLE.COM' on your card statement. In the app, payments are made through Apple App Store or Google Play in-app purchase, and payment, subscription management, and refunds follow the policies and procedures of each store.
Fee changes will be announced to existing subscribers in advance and will take effect from the next billing cycle.
A subscription automatically renews under the same terms at the end of each billing cycle (month) unless the user cancels, and the fee will be charged to the registered payment method on the renewal date.
Users may cancel their subscription at any time. Web (Paddle) subscriptions can be canceled through in-service settings or by email request (hbpjjang2@gmail.com), and app subscriptions through subscription management in the Apple App Store or Google Play. Cancellation takes effect from the next payment date, after which renewal and billing stop, and the user may continue to use Premium until the end of the period already paid for.
The Extra 30 Pack is a one-time purchase that does not renew automatically, and the remaining uses of a purchased pack can still be used after a subscription is canceled.
Users may request withdrawal of subscription (a refund) within 7 days of the payment date for a Paid Service. However, under Korea's Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, withdrawal may be restricted once the supply of digital content has begun.
For Paid Services subject to withdrawal restrictions, the Company provides free usage (unlimited typing practice and the AI Sentence Maker 3 times per week) so users can try the Service before purchasing, ensuring that users' right to withdraw is not impeded.
The Extra 30 Pack may be withdrawn (refunded) within 7 days of purchase. If none of the pack's uses have been used, the full amount is refunded; if some have been used, an amount proportional to the remaining uses (payment amount × remaining uses ÷ 30) is refunded (web purchases).
Refunds for Paid Services purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play in-app purchase are requested from the relevant store in accordance with its refund policies and procedures.
The specific conditions and procedures for refunds are governed by the "Refund and Withdrawal Policy."
Users must comply with applicable law, these Terms, and the usage guidelines, and must not engage in the following:
The Company may change or discontinue all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons, and will provide advance notice of material changes or discontinuations. Unless otherwise required by law, the Company is not liable for damages arising from changes to or discontinuation of free services.
If a user violates these Terms or interferes with the operation of the Service, the Company may restrict use or terminate the agreement after prior notice (or after the fact in urgent cases). Users may terminate the agreement at any time by withdrawing their membership.
Users may delete their account (withdraw membership) at any time in the app under Settings > Delete account; Anonymous Accounts can also be deleted. When an account is deleted, learning records, usage records, remaining Extra 30 Pack uses, and other data are deleted immediately and cannot be recovered. The scope of the information deleted and of the payment records retained as required by law is governed by Section 4 of the Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play are not canceled automatically when an account is deleted. Users must cancel them directly in the relevant store's subscription management; otherwise, the store may continue to charge the subscription fee.
If a user with an active web (Paddle) subscription deletes their account, the Company schedules the subscription to be canceled so that it ends on the next payment date and no further charges are made, and then deletes the account. If the cancellation cannot be scheduled, the account deletion is put on hold; in this case, the user may cancel the subscription on the web (Article 8) and then proceed with the deletion again.
Copyright and other intellectual property rights in the Service and its content belong to the Company or the rightful owner. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit such content without the Company's prior consent.
The Company is not liable for damages caused by force majeure, the user's own fault, or failures of third-party services (login, payment, AI, etc.) beyond the Company's reasonable control. The Service is a learning aid and does not guarantee passing any specific examination or any particular learning outcome.
Sentences, translations, and explanations created with the AI Sentence Maker are generated automatically by AI and may contain inaccurate or unnatural content; they are provided for learning reference only. The Company does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated results and, except in cases of the Company's willful misconduct or gross negligence, is not liable for damages arising from errors in AI-generated results.
If the Company or a user causes damage to the other party by violating these Terms, the responsible party shall be liable for compensation in accordance with applicable law.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. The Company and users shall make good-faith efforts to resolve any dispute related to use of the Service through consultation. If a resolution cannot be reached, jurisdiction shall be determined in accordance with applicable law.
