Refund and Withdrawal Policy

Last updated: 2026-07-25

This Policy sets out matters relating to the withdrawal of subscription and refunds for tab-hunmin Paid Services (Premium and Ad-Free subscriptions). Matters not specified herein are governed by the Terms of Service and applicable law.

1. Basic Principle of Withdrawal

Users may request withdrawal of subscription within 7 days of the payment date for a Paid Service (Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce).

2. Restriction on Withdrawal for Digital Content and Free Trial Access

Where a Paid Service constitutes digital content and its supply has begun, withdrawal may be restricted under applicable law.

For Paid Services subject to such restriction, the Company continuously provides a free tier and free pronunciation tutor sessions (3 sessions/day) so users can fully try the Service before purchasing. This ensures that the exercise of users' right of withdrawal is not impeded.

3. How to Cancel a Recurring Subscription

A subscription may be canceled using the method corresponding to its billing channel.

  • Direct billing (Toss/Paddle): cancel via in-service Settings > Subscription Management
  • Apple App Store billing: cancel via device Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions
  • Google Play billing: cancel via Google Play > Subscriptions

Upon cancellation, automatic renewal stops from the next billing cycle, and the user may continue to use the Service for the remaining days of the period already paid for.

4. Refund Procedure and Timeline

Refund requests may be submitted via hbpjjang2@gmail.com or through in-service inquiries. Once the reason for the refund is confirmed, the Company will issue the refund using the same payment method within 3 business days; if delayed without justifiable cause, the Company will pay any delay compensation required by applicable law.

5. Calculation of Refund Amount

If the request is made within the withdrawal period (7 days from the payment date) and there has been no usage of the Service, a full refund will be issued.

If the Service has been used, the amount corresponding to the period of use is deducted and the balance is refunded. Refund = payment amount − (days of use × daily rate). The daily rate is the monthly payment amount divided by 30, and days of use are counted from the payment date to the date the withdrawal request is received (any period of less than one day counts as one day).

6. Invalidity of Provisions Unfavorable to Consumers

Any provision of this Policy that is unfavorable to consumers in violation of consumer protection provisions under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce or other applicable law shall be invalid.
