The service agreement is formed when the user agrees to these Terms and applies for membership via Google or Apple social login, and the Company accepts the application. Users under 14 must obtain consent from a legal guardian.
The Company provides the following services.
The specific content and composition of the Service may change according to Company policy.
Premium, Ad-Free, and Roleplay Pass are Paid Services billed on a monthly recurring (subscription) basis.
Fees are inclusive of applicable tax (VAT), and the fee and benefits for each plan are displayed on the in-service payment screen. Payments are processed via Toss Payments or Paddle. For international payments, the Merchant of Record is Paddle, and charges appear as 'PADDLE.COM' on your card statement. Fee changes will be announced to existing subscribers in advance and will take effect from the next billing cycle.
The benefits of a Paid Service (Premium/Ad-Free/Roleplay Pass) apply only to the language (learning) version in use at the time of subscription and are not automatically extended to other language versions. To access paid benefits in another language version, a separate subscription must be purchased for that version.
A subscription automatically renews under the same terms at the end of each billing cycle (month) unless the user cancels, and the fee will be charged to the registered payment method on the renewal date.
Users may cancel their subscription at any time through in-service settings (or through subscription management in the App Store or Google Play). Upon cancellation, renewal stops from the next billing cycle, and the user may continue to use the Paid Service for the remaining days of the period already paid for.
Users may request withdrawal of subscription (a refund) within 7 days of the payment date for a Paid Service. However, under Korea's Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, withdrawal may be restricted once the supply of digital content has begun.
For Paid Services subject to withdrawal restrictions, the Company provides free usage (the free tier and free pronunciation tutor sessions) so users can try the Service before purchasing, ensuring that users' right to withdraw is not impeded.
The specific conditions and procedures for refunds are governed by the "Refund and Withdrawal Policy."
Users must comply with applicable law, these Terms, and the usage guidelines, and must not engage in the following:
The Company may change or discontinue all or part of the Service for operational or technical reasons, and will provide advance notice of material changes or discontinuations. Unless otherwise required by law, the Company is not liable for damages arising from changes to or discontinuation of free services.
If a user violates these Terms or interferes with the operation of the Service, the Company may restrict use or terminate the agreement after prior notice (or after the fact in urgent cases). Users may terminate the agreement at any time by withdrawing their membership.
Copyright and other intellectual property rights in the Service and its content belong to the Company or the rightful owner. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit such content without the Company's prior consent.
The Company is not liable for damages caused by force majeure, the user's own fault, or failures of third-party services (login, payment, AI, etc.) beyond the Company's reasonable control. The Service is a learning aid and does not guarantee passing any specific examination or any particular learning outcome.
If the Company or a user causes damage to the other party by violating these Terms, the responsible party shall be liable for compensation in accordance with applicable law.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. The Company and users shall make good-faith efforts to resolve any dispute related to use of the Service through consultation. If a resolution cannot be reached, jurisdiction shall be determined in accordance with applicable law.
